What you can build with Chalkroom.

Sales Collateral Library
A governed, searchable library of all approved sales assets — accessible to every sales rep, always current, never out-of-brand.

Live Content Distribution
Distribute updated sales materials across the entire team with one change. No 'please delete the old version' emails to the sales team.

Content Performance Reporting
See which pieces of sales collateral generate the most prospect engagement — so marketing investment goes where it has the most commercial impact.
We understand your world.
Sales reps using outdated collateral because they saved a local copy months ago
No visibility into which sales content pieces are actually being used by reps
Brand-inconsistent proposals going out because different reps have different saved versions
Time wasted resending updated materials every time pricing or positioning changes
No data on which marketing-produced content actually contributes to closed deals
Campaign assets buried in shared drives with no clear governance over which version is current
Built for your workflow.
Content governance
One approved source of truth for every sales asset. Only current, approved versions reach prospects — not cached downloads from months ago.
Usage analytics
See which content pieces reps are sharing most, which are being ignored, and which are generating genuine prospect engagement.
Live content updates
Update a piece of content once. Every existing link across the entire sales team reflects the change instantly — without re-distribution.
Governed asset library
Sales one-pagers, case studies, sell sheets and presentations — organised, versioned and accessible to every rep from one central source.
Content ROI visibility
Connect sales content to deal outcomes. See which assets appear most often in won deals versus stalled pipeline across the team.
Sales-marketing alignment
Marketing governs; sales distributes. Reps get the content they need at the point of need; marketing controls what goes out.
Common questions.
The fundamental problem is the distribution model. When marketing distributes content as email attachments or shared drive links, reps download a local copy — and that copy never updates. Three practices fix this:
- Distribute as links, not files — reps share a link that always points to the current approved version, not a local download
- Organise by use case and stage — reps need to find the right content quickly at the point of need; a well-structured library removes the friction that leads to ad-hoc materials
- Remove access to superseded versions — when a piece of content is updated, the previous version is withdrawn from the library automatically
Chalkroom's live-link model is the critical enabler. Because reps share links rather than files, marketing retains control of every piece of content after it leaves the library.
Sales collateral management is the process of creating, organising, governing and distributing the materials sales teams use to engage prospects and close deals. Effective sales collateral management has three components:
- Content governance — a single approved source of truth for every sales asset, with version control and withdrawal capability
- Distribution — a mechanism that gets the right content to the right rep at the right moment without requiring them to request it manually
- Analytics — visibility into which content pieces are being used, by which reps, and how prospects are engaging with them
Most organisations have the creation part covered. Governance and analytics are where the gap typically sits — and where Chalkroom operates.
Most marketing teams measure content production (pieces created) and basic distribution (downloads, email opens). Neither connects content to revenue. Chalkroom adds two additional measurement layers:
- Prospect engagement — which sections of each piece are prospects actually reading, and for how long
- Deal correlation — which content pieces appear most frequently in pipeline and in won deals, across the whole sales team
These two signals together tell marketing where to invest next: produce more of what's working in deals, discontinue what reps ignore.
A governed sales content library should give every sales rep single-click access to six content types, organised by how they're used in the sales process:
- Case studies — segmented by sector, use case and deal size, kept current and approved centrally
- One-pagers — concise summaries for forwarding to stakeholders who weren't in the original meeting
- Sell sheets — product or feature-specific, designed for buyers evaluating specific capabilities
- Proposal templates — structured starting points that maintain brand and messaging consistency across all reps
- Presentation decks — discovery, demo and evaluation formats for different meeting types
- Competitive positioning — approved responses to common objection and comparison questions
The library is only as good as its organisation. Content no rep can find in thirty seconds will be ignored in favour of whatever they created themselves last month.
